The Mailroom is a high volume, deadline driven environment, which services customers responsible for Operations Transaction Processing Teams, which are equally required to adhere to strict deadlines.

The Mailroom Team Leader is responsible for overseeing and executing the timely preparation, processing and delivery of documents that are received through a variety of channels, intended for distribution to all customers within the Loan Originations Department.

Detailed responsibilities include but are not limited to overseeing a fluctuating staff of 8-20; monitoring various technology to ensure efficient operation; monitoring work to ensure service level agreements and various agency rules and regulations, as well as standard operating procedures are consistently adhered to; resolving and/or escalating issues as appropriate; staff training; identifying and addressing trends that may pose an impact to the department and organization; generate and provide process improvement ideas and feedback and assisting with enhancing and documenting standard operating procedures. Reports directly to the Document Handling Supervisor.

Skills/Requirements
Minimum 6 months solid leadership experience in high volume, high risk distribution environment.
Experience coordinating high volume and rapidly changing workflow.
Strong organization skills.
Effective written and verbal communication.
Basic Excel Spreadsheet knowledge.
Team player who fosters and encourages a unified method for meeting common goals.
Ability to adapt to and manage work environment changes.
Ability to work with automated technology processes.
