Mailroom Supervisor Needed

Kelly Services is looking for a Mailroom Supervisor for their client in Mansfield, MA.

 

This position is long term temporary.  The schedule for this position is Monday ? Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm. The pay rate is $11.00/hr.

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

 
Pre-screen all incoming mail under ?suspicious? mail guidelines.
Collects, sorts and delivers incoming, outgoing and interdepartmental mail
Receives and sorts outgoing USPS mail: meters mail and processes for delivery to US Post Office: operates mail metering machines and electronic accounting system
Process all classes of mail including express mail and private carriers to ensure adherence to proper size, weight, postage and other postal regulations
Forward mail and provide address corrections
Provide desk-top delivery of some mail/packages
Operate computerized vendor systems to process outgoing domestic express packages.
Handle customers mailing requests, via telephone or at service window.
Consolidate and mail to satellite offices.
Receive, enclose and mail/ship material for sales/marketing field personnel.
Interfaces with customers to ensure customer satisfaction
Meet deadlines.
May assist related departments in delivery and mailing of their requests
May handle cash/checks
Perform duties related to the Mail Center as required/ directed by the Site Supervisor/Team Leader

 

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

 
Good organizational and math skills.
Good Customer Service skills.
Must be able to prioritize and make quick decisions.
Ability to work under deadlines and fast paced work environment.
High school diploma or equivalent related experience.
Previous mail center, clerical, computer or typing skills helpful.
Working knowledge of express shipping systems, i.e. UPS, Fed Ex.
Computer literate.
Must be able to lift 50lbs.
Excellent physical condition

 

Must be able to pass drug and background screen and have reliable transportation.
