Marketing Assistant- Trade Show Planning -40K

This recent temp to perm opening in a downtown Boston marketing department is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is interested in event planning and marketing. Working in a fun and fast-paced environment, this position will involve assisting the marketing department in trade show planning, writing marketing articles and scheduling meetings and shows. Administrative duties such as data entry with excel, phone correspondence and assisting with other projects as needed will be required. The department is a dynamic environment with a team atmosphere. The salary on the permanent side will be 40K.


This position requires someone who has two years of office support experience, preferably within a professional business environment. The individual must be comfortable with MS Office software, particularly Excel, as it will be used for sales analysis. Customer service experience in a corporate environment is also needed. The ideal candidate will be outgoing, hard working and professional. This department is very deadline-driven, so the individual who fills this role must have a focused work ethic. Immediate availability is required.
