PRIMARY JOB OBJECTIVE
Perform a variety of administrative tasks for the Materials department using established procedures and general guidelines. Develop reports, correspondence, collect and manipulate data, complete detailed reports and other administrative support functions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required. Provide administrative entry, manipulation and reporting of various data/records, and other related documentation. Timeliness, accessibility, and accuracy of information are critical. Review of information for errors and compliance to process is critical.Collect, compile, and analyze complex data and information.Provide analysis and summaries of information to aid in management and control of the overall Materials group.Input, extract, and manipulate information from business system and other applications.Act in a professional and supportive manner in all internal and external interactions including supporting co-workers and teams.Actively participate in corporate and team Continuous Improvement events or activities.Know and understand workplace hazards and take steps to proactively prevent and report hazards or injuries in the workplace.Complete other tasks as assigned such as correspondence and filing. NATURE AND SCOPE
Reports directly to the Director of Materials. Interact regularly with managers, Account Managers, Buyers, suppliers and other Materials employees to achieve team and organizational goals. Rotates as a back-up to the front desk (during breaks, lunches, etc.) to answer the main phone and greets visitors to project a friendly and professional company image.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
? High school diploma or equivalent required. 2 year business or related degree preferred.
? 2-3 years related work experience required.
? Requires advanced level Excel skills. Experience with Word, Lotus Notes, and working on the Internet and various search engines.
? Basic math skills, including the ability to calculate ratios, percentages, and simple algebraic equations, as would reasonably be obtained through high school or equivalent level education required.
? Ability to read, write and otherwise communicate effectively in English required.
? Excellent attention to detail and accuracy very important. Strong sense of urgency, and ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks with minimal supervision required.
? Ability to concentrate and focus despite multiple interruptions and distractions required.
