Nationwide Retail Construction firm in need of a Full Charge Bookkeeper & Construction Administrator

Doty & Associates, Inc., is a 35 year old nationwide retail construction firm based in Norcross, Ga (a northern suburb of Atlanta). We have annual gross sales exceeding 10 million. We offer a relaxed office atmosphere.

 

Full-Charge Bookkeeper

We require the services of a take charge individual that posseses a wide range of bookkeeping skills. The following outlines most of the functions that this position will require:

 Working knowledge of multiple state sales tax preparation & reportingGeneral ledger balancing  & bank reconciliationExperience dealing with commercial insurance; workers compensation & general liability as well as insurance audit preparationJob costing experience

 

Our current accounting program is MAS90. Minimum of 5 years experience & excellent references required.

 

Construction Administrator

The ideal candidate will be able to support our project managers and superintendents in a wide range of task including but not limited to the following:

 Nationwide permitting of jobsObtaining & maintaining construction bondsMulti-state licensingMaintaining our certificates of insurance & builders risk policiesEstablishing utilitiesOrdering temporary laborScheduling roll-off containersOrdering job site materials

 

Experience in this field is a plus but not a requirement. Excellent references a must.
