Job Description:Opens incoming client mail, copies checks  and correspondenceMaintains Incoming Check LogPerforms In Good Order review of all applicationsSubmits all IGO business to carriers the same day if received by 3 pmPrepares daily blotter of all applications, checks and certificates received and prints for Principal review and fileReviews various systems for Not In Good Order reports; follows up as needed to resolve issues.Acts as a liaison between planners and carriersAssists with ongoing training, including orientation for new planners and staffMaintains and updates forms and prospectusCreates new client files and maintains current client filesAssists with special projects, as requiredPerforms other duties when assigned

 

Qualifications:Strong computer skills in MS Office and use of the InternetOrganization and follow-through; strong attention to detailAbility to prioritize as well as manage multiple time sensitive projects and meet deadlinesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProven problem solving and decision making abilities

 

Education and/or Experience:

High School required, college preferred.  1 to 3 years experience within the financial services industry desired.
