Perform general office duties for Operations and Maintenance (O&M) contract sites, which requires knowledge of company and departmental procedures.  Duties performed may include mail delivery, copier paper distribution, copier maintenance, shipping & receiving, and file organization.

Under direct supervision, performs general, routine office duties, following standard procedures and specific instructions.  Duties performed may include typing, file maintenance, operation of office equipment, sorting of mail and answering telephones.

 

PRINCIPLE DUTIES MAY CONSIST OF ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING:Writes, types, or enters information into computer to prepare correspondence such as letters and memos.Sorts and files records.Prepares envelopes or packages for mailing.  Calls for couriers when necessary.Processes incoming and inter-departmental mail arriving from FedEx, Airborne, UPS, USPS, and couriers.Stuffs envelopes by hand or with envelope stuffing machine.Operates telephone console to receive and direct incoming calls and convey messages.Receives visitors and notifies employees that visitors are in the lobby.Acknowledges delivery persons in lobby and ensures all incoming mail and packages are delivered to appropriate personnel.Operates office equipment including typewriters, computers, facsimiles and copy machines.Proofreads work for errors and makes corrections as needed.Coordinates requests for repairs and/or service to office equipment.  Maintains office supplies.Performs other duties necessary to provide general support to the O&M team.

High school diploma or equivalent education.  Ability to pay close attention to detail for typing, filing, sorting and proofing.  Ability to demonstrate exceptional customer service skills.  Must be a team player and committed to working in a quality environment.  Excellent verbal and written communications skills required.
