JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Inventory Purchasing department handled over $500 million dollars worth of inventory last year alone and, as such, necessitates a flawless level of support from its team members. 

 

Ideal candidates will have excellent problem solving and organizational skills along with keen attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.  An outstanding customer service orientation as well as someone who is adaptive to change is essential!  Exceptional written and verbal communication skills as well as thorough follow up and follow through are required.  The willingness to engage in and be accountable for various administrative tasks such as data entry and filing on a daily basis is also critical to the team's overall success.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Communicating with marine manufacturers to verify product ordering, delivery dates and locations
Order processing and data entry of product into IDS systems; process order confirmations from manufacturer; verify colors, options, engine, etc. are accurate.
Process production order changes and secure ship locations.  Process reassignments.
Track and report sales trends for designated district.
Reconcile open order reports with manufacturer open order reports for accuracy on a weekly basis.
Critical liaison between dealer/store managers, outside transportation vendors and other Team Support members.
Maintain all district files.
Inventory maintenance 
Data entry, filing and other clerical duties

 

SKILLS/ABILITIES:
5+ years inventory or purchasing experience or demonstrated success in related role
Outstanding customer service orientation
Excellent written and verbal communication
Independent decision making
Strong organization skills
Adaptive to change
Strong attention to detail
Multi-tasking and prioritizing abilities
Speed and accuracy in typing over 45 WPM or data entry over 10,000 KSPH 

 



This full time, Monday-Friday 8:30-5:30, administrative positions has an annual, hourly compensation from $31K to $34K.  We offer an outstanding benefits package including health, dental, life, 401(k), stock purchase plan, paid time off and holiday pay.
