Offline Captioner

Vitac, a subsidiary of the Merrill Corporation, is the largest provider of closed captioning services.  We are currently searching for a candidate to handle the responsibilities of captioning/transcribing the audio portion of a pre-recorded program.  To be successful in this role candidates need good knowledge of written language (grammar, spelling, punctuation), the ability to research different topics, ability to problem solve, and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.  Must be computer literate.  Candidate need to be willing to work a flexible work schedule that may include weekends.
