Due to our continued growth, Smithfield has the following opportunity available:

 

ON CALL RECEPTIONIST/ MAIL ROOM

 

In this role, you will act as a back-up switchboard operator and relief support for Sales, Marketing, and Administrative staff. You will route calls to staff members, take messages and/or transfer calls, screen incoming calls, retrieve faxes, maintain the phone numbers stored in fax machines, back up the mailroom as well as other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:

HS Diploma or GED is preferred. Previous switchboard and/or office experience is desired. Must be flexible with your availability and have excellent communication skills. Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking skills are a must.
