Operations Manager 1

Job Description: Supervises day to day operations for an operational unit and/ or staff. Under management guidance, supervises nonexempt staff to ensure effective delivery of services. Provides training, performance evaluation and coaching. Implements processes to maximize efficiency of operations. Also performs moderately complex administrative tasks for a manager, department, and/or business unit. Duties include: compiling information and preparing moderately complex reports using appropriate software; balancing routine general ledger lines and/or expense accounts; assisting with personnel/payroll processing and record keeping; assisting, screening and/or selectively referring callers; answering questions regarding business unit policies and procedures. May work closely with both internal and external customers to meet their service needs. May be responsible for providing support to the business line staff in the areas of reporting, customer/business documentation, sales and service goals. May monitor and assist with forecasting monthly budget. Performs special projects as requested.


Minimum Qualifications: - Management or Supervisory Experience required
- Ability to work autonomously and make decisons as well as be a team player
- The successful candidate must thrive in a fast-paced atmosphere and be flexible and poised when faced with changing priorities, fast-moving situations and tight deadlines
- Superior administrative, organizational and project coordination skills
- Strong computer skills, advanced knowledge of Microsoft office suite


Preferred Skills: - BS or BA degree
