As Administrative Assistant you will provide administrative support to members of the Community Relations and the Legal Departments.  Administrative responsibilities consist of maintaining calendars, scheduling appointments/meetings making travel arrangements, organize/maintain filing system, answer phones, composing correspondence/reports/spreadsheets, sorting/distributing mail, coordinating mail/deliveries, photocopying and ordering office supplies.  In this role you will also coordinate activities involved in establishing new communities and the formation of community associations.  On occasion, you will attend landscape walk-throughs and other common area amenities for turnover to the Homeowner Associations (HOA’s), attend HOA meetings, review owner compliance with the CC&R’s and provide feedback and direction to staff, property managers and vendors on action items. 

 

The successful candidate will be detail-oriented possessing strong planning, organization, and follow-through skills.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills are needed with proficiency with MS Word and Excel.  Ability to maintain professional demeanor in difficult interpersonal situations as well as exercise high level of diplomacy, tact and judgment are essential.  Ideal applicants will possess experience in community relations within the homebuilding industry.  Experience in landscape maintenance and reviewing architectural plans is a plus.  A minimum of a High School Diploma or the equivalent is required.
