We are looking for a part-time receptionist who is stable, mature, and personable to join our team. Our team is AeroGrow, and we have recently launched the AeroGarden, the world?s first kitchen crop appliance. More on us below. Our part-time receptionist should be able to prioritize/juggle multiple, ever-changing requests from our internal staff and research interesting subjects ?in between the cracks? ? all while repeatedly answering the phones! Excellent phone, office, computer, and research skills are a must. We seek that unique individual, who is experienced, bright, organized, has an innate ability to multi-task. and can keep their focus while continually interrupted, handling pressure with grace. We love it when our front desk person can tame the often chaotic energies swirling throughout our dynamic company.

You will normally be on the front desk and answering phones 4 to 6 hours per day. Your projects while answering the phones may include:
?Providing general admin support on projects by our different departments
?Engaging in interesting research on any number of gnarly topics (?what is aeroponics??)
?Greeting investors, visitors, vendors, and handling their requests
?Accepting deliveries and dispensing them
?Packaging small items to be shipped, use of Fed Ex, USPS, DHL, etc.
?Ordering, maintaining and restock all office supplies

We offer a starting salary of $15/hour with an accelerated compensation review in 120 days. There is an opportunity for this to grow into a full-time position within 4 to 6 months. This position is also an open doorway into other opportunities within our company.
