Part-Time Shipping Clerk

Job Purpose:

Ships product to customers by loading and testing equipment; entering computer data; verifying inventory.



Duties:

* Controls shipments by scheduling loads; verifying quantity and items.



* Weekly Physical Inventory Report.



* Maintains inventory by reporting items to be re-ordered;  imputing shipment/inventory data.



* Documents shipments by recording/identifying information of items and transporting information.



* Verifies entered customer account data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or re-entering data; combining data from multiple systems when account information is incomplete; purging files to eliminate duplication of data.



* Stores information by preparing folders and labels for new customers; re-arranging materials for space allotment; filing information in designated areas.



* Provides information by answering questions and requests.


* Accomplishes department and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
