VES ? Industrial, at its LaPorte, Texas location has an immediate opening for the following position:

?Payroll Administrator I

Job Duties:

?

Under general supervision the Payroll Administrator I will perform the following duties:

1.)?? Resolve payroll issues working with the field administrators

????? ?? in regards to the Peoplesoft HR system. (setup, pay issues, etc)

2.)?? Input New Hire information for Salary and Admin employees

3.)?? Input Salary and Admin information changes

4.)?? Maintain Salary personnel files

5.)?? Review and issue Xpress Check requests

6.)?? Maintain Ceridian system on a weekly basis with Begin New process

7.)?? Provide assistance to TALX on terminated employees

8.)?? Open mail and distribute

9.)?? Filing

10.)????? Employment verifications (only those requesting Payroll Info)

11.)????? Validate system input weekly

12.)????? Special Projects as deemed necessary

Education:?

????????????????? High School Diploma

????????????????? Some College

?

This position requires a strong proficiency in the following knowledge/skills:Good written and verbal communication skillsStrong computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools and PeopleSoft or similar systemMulti-task oriented and dedication to meeting deadlines
