Payroll Specialist

You will work with in the Payroll group as a payroll specialist.  You should enjoy a muti-tasking and a fast paced environment.  The company offers a full line of benefits.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Process high volume data entry to include hours and benefits.



Process high volume of payroll checks while multi-tasking.



Research discrepancies in pay and/or benefit time.



Heavy volume of inquiries must be answered daily.



Special projects as assigned.





 

Key Qualifications:



Minimum of one year payroll experience for a large company.



Understand the flow of payroll processes from recording hours through mailing the check



Working knowledge of payroll deductions and taxes



Ten key by touch, detail oriented with a good numeric aptitude



Good verbal and written communication skills



Good interpersonal skillsTeam player and self starter



MS Excel experience PeopleSoft experience is a plus.
