Planning Operations Coordinator

Ariat International, Inc., located in Union City, California, is a fast-paced, growing manufacturer/wholesale distributor of footwear, apparel, belts and small leather accessories.  As our international and domestic markets continue to grow, we are expanding our Planning & Forecasting department by seeking an experienced Planning Operations Coordinator. 

 

Primary responsibilities include:

Work with all levels of management and departments as well as our China office in regard to administrative projects and issues. Maintain reports for incoming freight, inventory, costing, shipment discrepancies, claims and various special projects.  Oversee the maintenance of the style master in the order management system.  Work with production tream to ensure on-time delivery of goods to distribution warehouses.

 

Position requirements:Associate degree required, BA or BS preferred.3 to 5 years operations experience in import/export, transportation, or manufacturing environment.Excellent verbal and written communication skills; MS Office literate and experience with order management systems.Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, and ability to meet deadlines.Able to work as part of a fast-paced team.Familiar with inventory management and finance processes in relation to monthly closing activities.General knowledge of US Customs laws and requirements helpful.
