Plastic Cards Manager/ Tyco Electronics Federal Credit Union

Administers the Credit Union?s credit card, ATM, & debit card products, including development and implementation of approved enhancements / revisions.  Is responsible for maintaining appropriate balance of risk, member convenience and return, while growing portfolio and member acceptance and utilization (sales and penetration) as demonstrated by usage and profitability increases and higher average balances.  Responds to member inquiries regarding the products and associated transactions.  Monitors fraud prevention measures to ensure effective strategies are being employed to minimize losses and protect member's accounts while employing all practical methods to track, report and reduce fraud perpetrated on the Credit Union and its membership. Develops training and education on plastic card products for credit union employees.  Develops marketing plans and manages marketing activities in order to increase revenue. Handles non-routine exception item processing and investigation.  Interfaces with third party processors and evaluates vendor processes to increase efficiency and cost effectiveness, in matters relating to all plastic card operations.  Other duties as assigned.

 

Desired Education, Experience, and Skills:

Some college education required, business degree preferred.  Customer contact experience required.  Sales, financial services or business development experience or past experience with card services (working knowledge of ATM, debit and credit card programs) preferred.  Ability to handle multiple priorities with organization and follow through.  Experience effectively managing vendors is preferred.  Excellent oral and written communication skills.  Proficient at MS Office.  Must pay acute attention to detail.
