Polished Downtown Administrative Assistant
One of the nation?s leading mining companies currently has an opening for an Administrative Assistant at their Corporate Headquarters in Downtown Denver. This position will report directly to the Director of the Internal Audit department and will provide administrative support for the Director. This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated, high-energy candidate. The company offers a warm atmosphere that values the input of their employees.
Responsibilities:Answer and direct incoming callsDirect and assist visitors to the departmentSchedule all meetings, appointments and conferencesMaintain the department schedule and provide updates to individual membersCompose and edit correspondence, reports and presentationsTranscribe meeting minutes as necessaryComplete international and domestic expense reportsAssist with developing the departments annual budget and maintain analysis on a monthly basisMaintain an Access database that determines Sarbanes-Oxley process and location scopeCreate, maintain and update the departmental filing system for all documentsAdditional duties as necessary
Requirements:At least 6 years of administrative experience requiredAt least 2 years of experience supporting a manager or directorExcellent knowledge of MS OfficeSuperior written and verbal communication skillsA Bachelor?s Degree in Business or a related field preferredExperience supporting a Finance related department preferredAbility to present a polished and professional image at all times
