We have received worldwide acclaim for successfully connecting people to the best medical care.  Currently, we have a need to add to staff a Polling Assistant who is bilingual in Japanese.

 

 

Job description:

The polling assistant, Japan conducts the Best Doctors Japan Department?s polling (research) activities in collaboration with the supervisor and the team in Japan.  The pollster will help create a database of outstanding clinicians in Japan, using the Best Doctors methodology and software to reach country-specific numbers of physicians by specialty and geographic area.  The pollster is responsible for the achievement of company quality requirements.  The final database must contain the information required for Best Doctors to provide unparalleled doctor referrals to our clients. The position also assists the supervisor with a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. This is a full-time position.

 

Responsibilities:

?  Poll (research) physicians in Japan

?  Conduct data entry/maintenance

?  Prepare analyzed data and reports to the supervisor

?  Other tasks associated with the polling, including responding to inquiries from physicians/related facilities and mailing

?  General administrative/clerical support

 

Requirements:

?  Three or more years of full-time office work experience in Japan

?  Office work experience using MS Office products

?  Ability to read and write Japanese at native level. Must be able to read handwritten Japanese texts and to write formal letters in Japanese.

?  Ability to do simple translation between Japanese and English

?  Research skills, particularly on the Web

?  Good sense of confidentiality

?  Analytical skills to identify issues with relevant data

?  Accuracy/consistency in data entry

?  Ability to follow directions and pay attention to detail

?  Communication skills, particularly for soliciting doctors? participation and for representing the company

?  Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as in a team

?  Computer skills: Ability work in a PC environment, familiarity with the use of database systems, and MS Office applications (intermediate familiarity with Word and Excel), Adobe Acrobat Professional, Web, ability to type Japanese texts and to use the Japanese keyboard

 

Desirable, but not required:

?  Familiarity with medical terms both in English and Japanese

?  English language proficiency

?  Advanced education
