Portfolio Coordinator

Job Description: DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: The Portfolio Coordinator is responsible for, assisting the Relationship Officers and Team Leader with the management of their deposit and loan portfolios, including responsibilities outlined below:

Provide customer account servicing and administration. This includes processing loan transactions and related servicing requirements.

Address cash management servicing issues; identify opportunities to cross sell additional cash management services.

Oversee, in coordination with the Relationship Officer, the deposit and loan account opening process. Address all regulatory reporting requirements as part of this process.

Prepare team reports as required by Manager and/or Team Leader.

Assist with Business Development activities.

Assist the Division Manager and/or Team Leader on special projects as assigned.

Represent Corporate Banking on select Committees as assigned by Team Leader/Division Manager.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, or equivalent work experience preferred.

Minimum five years experience as a Portfolio Coordinator, Retail Branch Administrator or similar position at another financial institution.

Strong organizational, documentation, communication, and customer service skills.

Task oriented and ability to work independently as well as with other departments, in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision.

Working knowledge of bank loan and deposit systems a plus.

Proficient with various computer applications and spreadsheets, including Excel.

Working knowledge of commercial cash management services a plus.

Ability to interpret financial data for covenant compliance tracking and prepare reports a plus.

Team player.
