Assurant Employee Benefits is seeking a professional individual to work in our Philadelphia sales office as a Post Sale Group Sales Assistant. Assurant is a leader in the group insurance industry, specializing in life, dental and disability insurance. Responsibilities include:

Preparing welcome cards for new policyholders
Processing all Agent of Record changes
Processing all group terminations
Processing amendments
Filing
Keeping database information current
Developing relationships with sales support team
Preparing packets for re-enrollment meetings
Completing paperwork for rep changes for renewals
Acting as a liason and follow up on service issues with account managers and home office
Other office functions as required

Qualified candidates will possess the following:

Strong verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of Word, Excel and Groupwise Strong computer skills High customer service orientation Excellent listening skills High Detail Orientation Ability to follow directions Works well with others
