Processing Assistant/ Loan Verification Specialist

Academic Financial Solutions, a leading Student Loan Consolidation Company headquartered in Tampa, Florida, is looking for an experienced Data Processing Assistant/Loan Verification Specialist. Only highly motivated people will want to join our successful Team.

Position Description:

This key position within the Student Loan Processing Division stays in constant contact with over 1000 student loan Lenders across the Country. Using email, fax and phone, you will request Loan Verification Certificates (LVC) from these Lenders to ensure the timely processing of Student Loan Consolidation applications. You will troubleshoot any problems with the individual Lenders for delays in the LVC process while keeping very detailed, accurate records of this very important part of the Student Loan Consolidation process.

We are looking for candidates who have:
? Proficiency in Excel/ Microsoft Access/ Outlook
? Typing: minimum words 55 per minute
? Typing: minimum 10-key entry 180 key-strokes per minute
? Flawless attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly
? Organizational Skills a must
? Desire to work in a coordinated team atmosphere
? Previous experience or knowledge of Student Loan products a plus.
? A strong desire to advance and succeed in a fast-growing Company.

Starting Salary: $25,000 - $30,000 including bonus potential.
