Project Coordinator - Biotech

Job Description:
5 month temporary assignment. This position is responsible for the coordination of multiple projects within a GMP environment. During the project planning phase, the Project Coordinator works closely with Project Managers setting up project plans. During project execution, the Project Coordinator works as a liaison between the Project Manager and centralized procurement and accounts payable groups to procure equipment/services as well as track contracts and invoices. In addition, the Project Coordinator assists in project performance reporting and vendor/contractor communications (Request For Information, Transmittals, Change Order Requests, Submittals). During project closeout, the Project Coordinator is responsible for closing contracts and verifying the project is properly closed within Company's business systems. Key project coordination responsibilities include tracking project budgets, acting as liaison with Accounts Payable and Contracts, conducting weekly project updates, compiling turnover packages, contractor training, monthly reporting / metrics, managing the funding calendars, and other project-related activities as required. Requirements for this position include an Associates degree, 5 or more years of experience as a project coordinator, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred experience includes having a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. Strong computer and interpersonal skills are required.
