Position Overview:  Project Manager/Telecom Analyst

Overview and Objective:  Nashville-based Telecommunications Expense Management (TEM) service firm offering telecom industry expertise and personal support to multi-location business clients is seeking additional support staff to continue to provide the high-quality and responsive service that clients have come to depend upon.

 

 

Primary Responsibilities:  The person in this position will be responsible for working directly with both clients and vendors to:

?  Assist in the creation and maintenance of client-specific telecom inventory databases  

?  Consult with clients regarding their needs for telecom services and equipment

?  Assist in the evaluation of options and ultimate vendor selection for technologies and providers

?  Initiate and oversee implementation of new services, holding vendors accountable for delivery as promised

?  Take responsibility for driving vendor resolution of service troubles and billing issues

?  Follow up and ensure closure of all pending issues and tasks, to the satisfaction of the client

 

Additional Responsibilities: 

On occasion, the person in this position may be asked to perform other duties or tasks in support of the overall scope of services offered by the company.  These duties may include, but are not limited to:

?  Assist in the development of new or improved processes as they relate to client support

?  Provide input for the ongoing development of company's proprietary software platform

?  Develop and manage strategic vendor relationships to drive improved efficiencies  

?  Manage client account relationships to ensure their ongoing satisfaction, and maximize the bottom-line impact of the service on their business.

?  Baseline understanding of telecom premise equipment, network services, and common technologies.

?  Significant, proven knowledge and experience in the use of Microsoft Office? software applications

?  Knowledge of various aspects of telecom services delivery, including how they relate and interoperate

Given the high-degree of interaction with clients that will be required, the best candidate for this position is one with a minimum of 1-2 years successful experience in a similar, telecom services related role.

 

 

 

Compensation Overview:

This is a full-time position, with salary to be determined based upon the candidate?s prior history and experience.  The company will provide all the necessary tools, training, and support for the selected candidate to be successful in this role.
