Project Secretary/Construction

About MBS:

 

MBS is a supplier of residential hardware for new multi-family construction.  The company supplies hardware, mirror, shelving and shower enclosures for multiple jobs in multiple states at one time.  Position is located in the I-10W/Beltway 8 (Memorial City) area.

 

Job Purpose:

The purpose of this position is to support the project manager by performing all clerical duties, light accounting, order entry, invoicing, purchasing and product fulfillment.  The position must work intimately with MBS Accounting, purchasing, warehouse and all sub-contractors.

 

Duties:

 Schedules and coordinates job material to be picked up by sub-contractor for installation. Screens telephone calls and resolves issues as needed. Works to coordinate job requirements with customers, purchasing, warehouse and installation personnel. Enter orders for picking. Invoicing orders when job is complete. Take 20-30 phone calls per day.




Skills/Qualifications:Organization skills PC skills, knowledge and  proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the Internet. Great Plains experience a plus. Must be able to multi-task. Good communication skills, both written and verbal Good phone skills
