Project Support Assistant - International Operations

ABOUT THE POSITION:

 

We have an opening for a Project Support Assistant with the International Operations team at Optionetics. The position is in our Redwood City office, and it will entail support of a team of 4.  

 

ABOUT THE DESIRED CANDIDATE:

 

The desired applicant must be very dedicated and hard working, articulate, outgoing and friendly, possess top notch skills, and have the ability to work well independently or with a team. He/she should be very organized and be able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining the integrity of the projects and the team. Superior computer skills along with the ability to meet tight deadlines and creatively solve problems are a must. If you are eager to apply your existing skills while learning new ones to contribute to the team?s success, this position might be a great opportunity for you. This is a position best suited for those in search of a company where people work hard, are intensely dedicated to success, and have very high expectations.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

?  Project Support Responsibilities (70%):

- Maintain seminar and promotion calendars

- Coordinate marketing and registration for advanced seminars

- Track marketing results through daily excel reports (spreadsheets and charts)

- Execute email marketing campaigns

- Source international seminar venues

- Generate, edit and/or proofread different business documents, such as letters, flyers, and other marketing collateral

- Assume projects with a results-oriented approach

- Establish and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders

 

 

?  Administrative Duties (30%):

- Provide support to the International Business Development Team and the Director of International Operations and Sales as needed

- Answer customer questions and other inquiries from around the world

- Carry out customer calls (no sales) as assigned

- Manage testimonials

- Manage seminar speakers? compliance requirements

- Do expense reports

- Coordinate meetings and phone conferences

 

SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS:

o creative and resourceful problem solver

?  Must have:

o 1+ years of related experience

o excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

o ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects

o multicultural awareness

?  Required computer skills:

o Microsoft suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

o web navigation

o ability to learn new programs quickly

o must be generally compute savvy

?  Skills that are not required but a plus:

o project management experience

o editing and proofreading experience

o HTML

o Spanish

o Bachelor?s degree
