Proofreader and Production Specialist

A national company located in downtown Denver has an immediate opening for a Proofreader and Production Specialist.  This successful company specializes in providing a range of services, including accounting and auditing, tax reporting and operations, tax advisory, business risk services, technology and security risk services, transaction advisory, and human capital services. 

 

Responsibilities:Proofread technical and statistical documents in order to reconcile revisions, check spelling, punctuation and formatting Ensure correct grammar, language usage and consistency with use of acronyms and namesConfirm footing and cross footing of financial statementsConsult with customers regarding proofreading standards and individual requestsAct as a project manager, administering complex projects and evaluating quality of printing and copyingAct as a primary contact for supply and print vendors

 

Requirements:Experience in a proofreading position required and experience with statistical proofing a plusMust have a professional appearance and positive attitudeHigh attention to detail in order to catch grammatical or typographical errorsStrong computer skills, including excellent knowledge of Microsoft ExcelAvailable immediately
