Purchasing Associate

The Purchasing Associate will interface with vendors, negotiate pricing, research new vendors and pricing, generate, track, and monitor purchase orders. The ideal candidate will support internal departments to ensure that they have equipment and materials that are needed to successfully execute task. Maintain and manage inventory. You will need to be able to multi-task and work in a fast environment.

Additional responsibilities include: supervising vendors for outsourced service, process and track RMA's, shipping/receiving, driving company vehicle for dropping off/picking up supplies, materials and equipment. We are a small company, so other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

Requirements:

At least 5 years of work related experience, preferable in the high-tech industry
Ability to negotiate effectively
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be detail oriented and highly organized
Proficient with MS Word, Excel and other applications
Great people skills, team player, and flexible
Must be able to multi-task in an organized and efficient manner with limited supervision
Ability to operate a forklift is a plus
Must have a valid CDL with a good driving record
MAS 90 is a plus
