Quality Auditor

Toys R Us Distribution Center in Midlothian, Texas is looking for a Quality Auditor.  Primary responsibilities are to support the Distribution Center operations and management through the maintenance of the Quality Audit program.  Communication via report generation and maintenance and associate relations.  This position is a skilled administrative support role assisting supervision in the management of operations staff.  This position reports to the Industrial Engineer.

 

Primary job functions include performing weekly audits of associates whose productivity is measured by PRIDE, maintaining accurate schedules to ensure proper coverage of audits of all associates, utilization of Quality Audit forms, performs audits on each eligible associate for approximately 10 minutes, looking for the items listed on the Audit Form.  Ensures Audit forms are properly filled out during and after each associate audit, makes numerous copies of each audit and distributes appropriate audit form to Management as necessary, enters quality audit forms into a tracking database and maintains hard copies as well as filing.

 

The ideal candidate must be knowledgeable in Excel and Word, must have math skills and be able to multi-task, must be able to get along with all different types of personalities, must have the willingness to be taught and to teach others, must be able to work un supervised and unaccompanied most of the time, must be able to interact with associates in a high-pressure environment while maintaining a responsible professional attitude.

 

Please note:  The ideal candidate will have inventory control or DC auditing experience and will be able to work in a DC environment that will include exposure to the changing weather conditions.  Candidate must be able to walk and bend 90% of the time as this position will require most of their time standing and observing associates.
