Quality Engineering Assistant Manager

Job Description:

 

Hands-On Engineering support for high volume production of interior automotive parts. Identifying quality problems which will result in Quality defect and Quality Costs and devises corrective actions to minimize those costs. Assist in reviewing the new production drawings, manufacturability and performance of products through validation (e.g. fitting issues, functional test, packaging verification tests and any other customer related tests). Identify SPC techniques to be utilized and provide information feedback. Functionally responsible for root cause analysis and corrective actions, vendor quality/ certifications, statistical analysis, FMEA, work instructions, implementation of quality system and working closely with manufacturing in the development of a world class manufacturing operation.

 

 

Requirements:

 

Bachelor?s or Masters degree in Engineering (manufacturing or industrial) required or relevant equivalent experience with a background of implementing quality systems.

3 - 5 years Management and related Engineering Experience preferred.
