Research Associate

Description:
The Research Associate works directly with a team of analysts who research, write, and publish Reports analyzing the impact of technology on large global companies.

Responsibilities:
Research
?Conduct primary research for published Reports, including developing and executing an interview set of senior level technology users via telephone and online surveys.
?Conduct secondary research for published Reports utilizing industry sources, including competitive assessment and third-party data analysis.
?Assist analysts with coordinating and conducting vendor interviews.
?Manage press and vendor community contacts.
?Create graphics for Reports and presentations to convey both conceptual analysis and quantitative findings
?Maintain Report production schedule, from inception through publication

Sales/Marketing Support
?Help the sales force understand published Reports, including giving short group tutorials on each monthly topic and suggesting appropriate Reports for potential clients.
?Prepare information for the marketing department on upcoming Report topics.

Requirements
?B.A./B.S. with a strong academic record. All undergraduate majors are welcome to apply.
?One to two years of varied undergraduate or post-graduate work experience.
?A working knowledge of word-processing and spreadsheet software.
?A background in technology.
?A passion to learn about technology.
?Typical candidates will be:
- Analytical.
- Engaging on the telephone for survey work.
- Articulate in writing and speech.
- Proficient in touch-typing.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
