RFP Specialist
CITY: Waukesha STATE: Wisconsin COUNTRY: USA Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
RFP Specialist is a key contributor to the Diagnostic Imaging Marketing team and is responsible for the process, development and delivery of responses to Requests for Proposals (RFP) and Requests for Information (RFI).
Responsible for workflow management of RFI, RFP, Due Diligence Questionnaires, and Ad-hoc proposal requests. Workflow involves establishment and management of deadlines and coordination throughout the production cycle with RFP Triage, Marketing Data Integration, and RFP Editors.
Provide in-depth product functionality and industry experience according to product documentation and standards. Responsible for database record set up, maintenance of records ensuring area of expertise contains updated and accurate information.
Qualifications/Requirements:
*BS/BA and/or 5 yrs Proposal and/or technical writing.
*The position requires the ability to organize cross-functional teams to develop proposal strategy, response and pricing.
*High proficiency in self-managing project details including delegating proposal sections to other resources such as legal, product management, technical support and sales engineering to respond to proposals on time and with tight deadlines.
*Ability to comprehend and organize complex materials according to requirements.
*Familiar with vocabulary and standard terms for Diagnostic Imaging technology.
*Working knowledge of databases or knowledge management systems used to store RFP responses. Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
*Strong writing skills and ability to communicate information clearly and concisely.
*Excellent editing and proofreading skills.
*Unrestricted work authorization in the US, without sponsorship.
*Willingness to submit to and pass a drug test and educational, employment and criminal background checks.
Desired:
*Knowledge of GE Healthcare products, sales processes and systems.
*Experience with Pragmatech RFP Machine or other RFP software.
*Working understanding of six sigma and/or LEAN tools to help measure and simplify RFP process.
