Receptionist/Admin Assistant

The Foundation Fighting Blindness is committed to driving the research that will provide preventions, treatments and cures for retinal degenerative disorders.  Join our winning team today! We have an immediate opening for a receptionist.  This position is very often the first impression our guests will have.  Responsibilities include greeting and assisting arriving guests, promptly answer incoming calls and route them appropriately, assist in distributing daily mail, and ensuring the reception area is clean and organized.  This position provides clerical support to the department as assigned.

 

RequirementsInclude:

Providing a sincere welcome to all guests; professional and friendly phone manner; tact; patience, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.  Must be organized, dependable and able to meet deadlines by effectively prioritizing workload.  Ability to schedule meeting rooms and use of conference call system.  The successful candidate will possess a high school diploma/GED and a minimum of 2 years previous experience. Proficiency in M/S Office Suite required including Word, Excel and Outlook.  Experience with computer based phone system preferred.  Excellent attendance is required.
