Receptionist/Project Coordinator I

Our Corporate offices are located in Riverside, California, which is centrally located to serve our clients throughout the Western United States. Diffenbaugh is opening an office in Palm Desert and is seeking a Receptionist/Project Coordinator.

The primary function of the Receptionist/Project Coordinator will be to answer and forward calls through console switchboard, greet visitors to company office, and interact with office guests, telephone guests and office personnel in a professional and courteous manner. Duties will also include: providing support for the Project Management team inclusive of the Director of Construction Services, Project Manager, and Project Superintendent; timely and accurate administration of contract preparation and distribution, plan, RFI & submittal distribution; Owner and Subcontractor change order preparation and distribution; and coordination and preparation of project close-out and warranty information.
Education and experience requirements include a minimum of 1 year of experience in the construction industry, communication skills that foster a team approach, clerical skills with a moderate understanding of Microsoft Office and a keyboard skill of 40-50 wpm. Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential. Must be reliable and detail oriented.
Work Hours: Monday - Friday 7 am to 4 pm
