We currently have an opening for a Receptionist/HR Assistant based at our Malden, MA Location.

 

General Summary

To greet all visitors and vendors and answer incoming calls at the main switchboard with corporate greeting.

 

Receptionist/Switchboard Operator- Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesAnswer and direct incoming calls with the highest standards of customer serviceUtilize computer for inquiries to direct calls to appropriate personnel promptly and efficientlyUtilize beeper system to page personnel for Company's communication needsGreet and assist all vendors, visitors and job applicants with the highest standards of customer serviceReceive and sign for deliveries from Company vendorsKeep daily report for vending machines by tracking complaints on food and monies lost by employeesHandle personal services offered to employees and some work life activities such as:lunches ordered and delivered to officeFlower VendorsMassageHelp other departments with miscellaneous ongoing projects, as well as special requests, as neededWilling to work select OT hours on occasion when person responsible for shift is unavailable  Must be flexible and willing to cross train to cover for front desk and phone roomKeep reception area tidy and presentable

 

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

1. High School diploma, some college preferred

2. Must have at least one year of switchboard/Reception experience

3. Experience with AVAYA Switchboard Is preferred

4. Candidate must possess superior customer service, Interpersonal and extensive communications experience in a corporate

5. Environment.
