Records Clerk IV

Source One Management, Inc. is a multi-faceted corporation specializing in information lifecycle technologies, management consulting, administrative and outsourcing services.? This position is based in Carlsbad, New Mexico.

GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Records Clerk IV will scan records and perform data entry, entering information from records into the records database.? Will perform microfilming of documents and inspection/quality control of scanned and microfilmed documents.? Typical duties also include: assisting in a variety of administrative matters and handling and adjusting complaints.? May also direct lower level Records Clerk I-III.? Some duplicating and copying of records and lifting/moving of records boxes weighing up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 70 pounds.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Scan records and perform data entry, entering information from records into the records databaseMicrofilming of documents and inspection/quality control of scanned and microfilmed documentsAssisting in a variety of administrative matters and handling and adjusting complaintsRecords inventoryingMoving records boxes to/from temporary and permanent storage and sending records to permanent storageContent redaction on recordsTrack documents using tracking systemsShredding and destroying records, boxes, microfilm and audio-visual materialQuality control of scanned documentsPerforms other tasks as assigned

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:High school graduate or equivalentOne year of clerical work experience and demonstrated knowledge of routine clerical methods and office practices and proceduresPrior experience in a records facilityWork requires familiarity with records terminology and redaction standardsGood attention to detail and organizationAble to follow verbal/written instructions and proceduresStrong computer skillsAbility to routinely lift boxes weighing 25-50 lbs, and up to 70 lbsLong periods of standing, sifting, bending and reaching including repetitive data entryPre-employment drug screen and criminal background checks required
