A unique opportunity exists for a Recruiting Assistant in our West Houston office.? The successful candidate will have 2+ years experience as a Recruiting or HR Assistant coming from a recruiting agency, an executive search firm or a corporate HR environment. ??The ideal candidates will have a pro active and can-do attitude and will work well under pressure.?

Duties include:Provide administrative assistance to the recruiting department Conduct research to create job descriptions and maintain an existing job description log, as well as to create effective job postings Become a proficient user of an E-recruiting database and manage the applicants, receiving and managing responses from potential candidates as well as generating weekly reports.Maintain client and employee relationships Work with HR on verification and data entry of on boarding paperwork Have a strong focus on customer and employee service Possess technical writing skills Be able to self-prioritize, multi-task, meet deadlines and complete assignments with minimal supervision

Requirements:Demonstrated success within a corporate environmentExceptional customer service, organizational, and multi-tasking skills in a challenging, fast-paced, results oriented environment Effective verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated experience using various recruitment resources (internet, job fairs, networking associations, etc.) Advanced computer skills and working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook Ability to navigate search engines to locate resumesOil & Gas Industry experience a plus
