Job Description:

The HR/Recruiting Coordinator provides administrative support to the Houston office Recruiting/HR Team and reports to the Recruiting Manager. The HR/Recruiting Coordinator is involved in all areas of experienced recruiting and Human Resources. The qualified candidate will assist in coordinating candidate schedules, managing new-hire paperwork and offer letters, assisting with new employee orientation, and other areas as assigned. It is the responsibility of the HR/Recruiting Coordinator to develop a working relationship with candidates, recruiters and other Grant Thornton employees who participate in the interviewing/hiring process. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, have strong oral and written communication skills, be organized, detailed, and able to handle many tasks while maintaining strict confidentiality. The Recruiting Coordinator's responsibilities include:
Job Postings:
Manage the job posting process including adding, deleting, and refreshing job postings.
Maintain relationships with job posting site account managers.
Post all open Houston office jobs to the Intranet, Internet and various professional association sites as assigned.
Place classified advertisements in newspapers when needed.
Monitor views vs. applicant statistics and data entry errors.
Activate and monitor auto-response for non-interest candidates.
Report Maintenance and Distribution:
The HR/Recruiting Coordinator will be involved in the assistance of the reports.

Applicant Tracking:
Candidate Assistance:
Schedule candidates for phone screens and interviews for all offices in the Central Region.
Coordinate candidate travel arrangements.
Distribute interview schedules, evaluation forms and behavioral interviewing guides to all interviewers and follow-up to obtain completed evaluation forms.
Drafting Letters:
Generate all offer letters and decline letters for the Central Region, and gather all needed forms to initiate the new hire process and get it to the candidate in a timely manner.
Secondary Duties:
Proactively interact with the current employees to gather information and make recommendations for recruiting process improvements.
Examine competitor's postings and recommend changes to postings to increase the quantity and quality of applicants. Track and report the response results of these changes.
Adhere to highest degree of professional standards and strict confidentiality. Perform other related tasks as assigned.
Assist with research and documentation for Strategic Initiatives when assigned.
Maintain candidate files.
Maintain all Vendor agreements and monitor contract expiration dates - weekly contact to vendors for new candidates.
Job Experience:
Qualifications are:
? Bachelor's degree preferred
? Minimum 2-4 four years of administrative support experience in a corporate HR/Recruiting department, employment agency, sales or marketing organization.
? Technical skills (Internet searches, Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Access or other database program).
? Outstanding organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
? Ability to handle multiple priorities, schedules and deadlines.
? Solid interpersonal and customer service skills.
? Ability to adhere to strict confidentiality.
? A positive team player attitude.
