Carrier Commercial Service (CCS) has an opening for a Region General Manager for the West. This position will be responsible for leading and directing all CCS activities within the Western United States. The successful candidate will be accountable for maximizing profits, and will direct, evaluate and control effective execution of sales, service, marketing, financial, human resources and operations programs. He/she will develop and implement plans to create and sustain a strategic competitive position, and develop short and long term strategies and goals which are in alignment with Carrier financial goals and objectives. In addition, this position is responsible for leading and directing a fully effective EH&S program throughout the West, and will also prepare and manage expense plans and capital budgets for programs undertaken.

BA/BS degree with 10+ years progressive HVAC experience; MA/MS degree with 7+ years progressive HVAC experience; PhD degree with 4+ years progressive HVAC experience.

Possess keen knowledge and understanding of the HVAC and after-market industry. Demonstrated knowledge of selling strategies, marketing techniques and general management (profit and loss responsibility, pricing strategy, share of market growth, business development, etc.) obtained through positions of progressively higher responsibility. Demonstrated experience in leading and establishing creative approaches to issue resolution and the ability to influence individuals and organizations through change management is essential. Possess strong analytical and syntheses skills in combination with sound business judgement to build and sustain financial performance and integrity. Proven capability in defining, implementing and instilling continuous improvement, process integrity, ACE and EH&S.
