Research Specialist

Staffmark is hiring 10 Research Specialists for a South Austin company. Duties include: processes correspondence and inquiries in an accurate and timely manner,works closely with the Research Supervisor in resolving difficult and complex cases, consults with Research Supervisor regarding questions or inquires requiring expert program knowledge. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Bachelor?s degree from an accredited college/university, or equivalent relevant experience; three years of experience preferably in health, social service or insurance field; experience handling inquires and researching cases in order to determine accuracy of decisions; experience in eligibility determination or a related field; computer literacy; effective problem solving skill; excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment; ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously; and ability to work as a team member, as well as independently. Knowledge and work experience with State programs (i.e. CHIP, TANF, Food Stamps, Medicaid or LTC) is preferred. Compensation is $26-$28k. Interested candidates should forward resume to
