Response Agent/Customer Service Representative

InPhonic is a leading online provider of wireless services and devices. We sell wireless services and devices through private labeled websites that we create and manage for online businesses, affinity organizations and national retailers, as well as through our own branded websites.

 

We are headquartered in Washington, DC and maintain technology and operations centers in Largo, Maryland and Reston, Virginia.

 

We are looking for a Response Agent/Customer Service Representative.  This position will start out in our DC (Georgetown) location but will eventually work in Reston (long term).

 

Job Description:

 

This position is responsible for researching and responding to written inquiries from customers, state and federal consumer protection agencies, and the Better Business Bureau related to InPhonic?s products and services; preparing written responses to inquiries; and interfacing with InPhonic?s internal finance, operations and legal departments to satisfactorily track and resolve all customer service inquiries.

 

Required Skills:

 

Bachelor?s degree or two to four years professional customer service experience. Strong written, verbal, analytical, and organizational skills.  Ability to problem solve, think creatively, and conduct research using different types of internal and external database systems.  Strong computer skills, including proficiency for MS Word, Excel. 

 

Desired Skills:

 

Knowledge of MS Access preferred.
