SCA Client Services Specialist

8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday

Performs Shoppers Charge Account (SCA) private label credit card operations activities, including data entry and general ledger journal entries of merchant account transactions. Processes payments, disbursements to be wired to customers, merchant contractual rebates and other accounts payable, mail from customers with no electronic capability, sales memorandums and other customer correspondence. Makes journal entries to different general ledgers, such as moving promotional money from one account to another. Communicates regularly with finance and other internal areas to ensure account accuracy. Develops knowledge of division products, services, policies and procedures and related regulatory guidelines to ensure quality customer service. Ensures that own work, as well as work of any employees supervised, is in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and guidelines, as detailed in policies located on Company intranet; policies include but are not limited to Fair Lending, Know Your Customer, Bank Secrecy Act and other applicable anti-money-laundering policies.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or the equivalent combination of education and work experience required. Up to 1 year related experience preferred. Ability to learn and perform monetary adjustments and accounting journal entries on system. Ability to organize large volume of work. Attention to detail. Customer service skills, including ability to deal professionally with customer issues, problems and questions. Communication skills, both verbal and written. PC skills.
