Major Responsibilities:

Does all of the activities included under the Functional Specialist I (i.e. performs a variety of administrative activities within a functional area?s processes, programs and/or services, programs and/or services, which includes the preparation/delivery of information or services; tracking and control of processes, projects and activities in a confidential, professional manner within corporate/department policies and procedures. Does this using state of the art computer technology and data bases.

This requires the use of technologies such as the Intranet, Internet, E-mail,. On-line databases, optical technology, personal computers including Microsoft Office Suite. Must also maintain electronic informational databases on the process itself or information.

Will have global budget and head count tracking responsibility, must be able to do basic financial analysis. 60 %

Builds relationships with other functional support specialists and internal/external customers to ensure a qualify interface to not only deliver a high quality process/service/product; but also to identify trends and special needs of customers in order to identify or recommend new services or changes. 15 %

Reexamines/evaluates the administrative processes to recommend redesign, to streamline, create cost-savings and expedite process focusing on the deliverable. Possesses knowledge of the technical, regulatory, legal terms and functional area to enhance performance. 15 %

Will provide education/training on administrative process or the use of the process to employees within the department as well as to internal/external customers who use the process or service. May also provide guidance to Functional Specialist I and administrative Staff within area or across division as well as back up for administrative staff. 10 %

Reexamines the process and recommends redesigns to streamline, cost savings and met customer needs.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma, ten years of experience. Some college preferred.
