Service Coordinator/dispatcher

Novation Commercial Services is a growing appliance repair company that services commercial kitchens. We currently have 12 trucks in the field and three office personnel. We are seeking a service coordinator to handle the day-to-day activities of dispatching, parts orders and general office operations. We service Wyoming, Northern Colorado and Denver (and suburbs). This position is located in FORT COLLINS, CO.

The service coordinator will be responsible for the coordination and dispatch of daily duties to service technicians and the ordering and inventory of parts. The service coordinator will review and assess the flow of work for individuals, customers and the office staff. The coordinator will be responsible for maintenance of records and logs of daily duties performed by individuals, parts inventory and purchases and tool/equipment logs for both jobs and individuals. Coordinator must possess above-average computer skills in order to obtain competency with our programs in a relatively short time period.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
? Plan and schedule work for the technicians to ensure proper distribution of assignments according to skills.
? Distribute and prioritize work orders according to customer needs and number of requests for service.
? Implement procedures and train employees with regards to dispatching routines, completion of work orders and ordering parts.
? Maintain communication with each technician and office staff to ensure work can be completed as scheduled, parts are ordered and staff is updated.
? Maintain database of all service calls, customer equipment, purchase orders, truck stock/tools and timesheets.
? Continually monitor work orders to ensure timely dispatch and completion of jobs.
? Act as a liaison between sales force, technicians and customers.
? Responsible for after hour phones and the rotation of after hour phones.
? Inspect vehicles and equipment at random intervals to ensure they are well maintained, clean and in safe operating condition.

This position will supervise a staff of approximately 15 people. The service coordinator will work closely with the office manager and field supervisor but will report directly to the owner of the company.

Required Skills:
Knowledge of computer applications. Average to above-average computer competency.
Supervisory experience.
Valid Colorado driver?s license.
Good communication skills.

Preferred Skills:
Previous work experience in commercial appliance repair or parts inventory or dispatching.

Hours/Location:
This position is from 7:30-4:30 daily and rotation of after-hour phones.
We are located in FORT COLLINS, COLORADO.

Salary:
Salary is dependent on work experience.
