Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Provides administrative and nursing supervision to hospital areas during alternate shifts. Provides employee supervision and development. Involved with problem identification and resolution. Patient, physician, and departmental communications, etc are all areas of responsibility.
Involved with, develops, and/or implements new ideas, concepts and/or changes that would be advantageous to the Health System.
Demonstrates knowledge and skill in the clinical setting and quality process.
Formulates realistic personal and service goals, provides effective leadership in accomplishment of goals in a timely manner.
Will report administrative emergencies to Hospital Administrator that is on call

Qualifications
Current RN license in the state of Iowa or Compact State of Residence.
RN with 3-5 years current experience in hospital setting,Critical Care experience preferred. Bachelor's degree preferred. Charge or management experience is strongly preferred. Must have good customer relations, employee relations, and physician relations skills. Must have good critical thinking abilities and be able to remain calm in urgent situations.
