Sales Coordinator - Bilingual (French/English)

Tensolite, A leading designer and manufacturer of high performance wire and cable is current seeking a Sales Coordinator for their St Augustine, Florida location.

 

Summary:

To provide exceptional professional customer service and administrative support for both internal and external customers. Responsible for direct and indirect customer contact in all areas relating to request for quote, order entry, delivery dates, customer complaints, and questions. Emphasis should be placed on providing both internal and external customers answers in a timely manner.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and maintain relationships with customers, manufacturers representatives, and direct outside sales staff.





Become knowledgeable of customers critical delivery requirements and advise management of such needs when they are jeopardized by delinquencies.





Enter sales orders based on customer requirements and Tensolite quote.





Receive, review, and process customer purchase order for either samples (NPI) or production. Coordinate any activities required ensuring order and prototypes are completed and shipped.





Verify customer-confirming orders against quotes for accuracy. Required to occasionally assemble bid packages and coordinate bib preparation process. Ensure customer order documentation is complete.





Record accurate and complete messages from customers, and sales representatives, including technical and product specification information. Perform basic mathematical computations.





Perform routine clerical tasks such as proofing sales orders, updating cross reference and bill-to / ship-to address files.





File sales orders and quotations, answer phones, take messages, and operate fax machine, input sales orders, and customers into computer software.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Good oral and written English and French language communication skill, experience with network PC?s using Windows, Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)



Minimum of two years of college education or equivalent experience



With limited supervision



Ability to multi-task several projects simultaneously



Establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers and co-workers



Dependability and accuracy



Ability to prioritize and organize tasks daily



Flexibility when overtime requires evening and weekend work
