Job Description:


Based out of our Palo Alto offices, the Sales Operations Administrator will be responsible for administrative support to senior sales management.   This important position reports to the Director of Sales Planning and provides support to the Vice President of Worldwide Sales and the Vice President of North American Sales.

 

Responsibilities:Daily management and sales reporting from our CRM database (Salesforce.com)

 Sales Group and Customer Events:  Planning, budget management logistics coordination, vendor management, facilitating and note taking to assure high quality meetings.  Includes organizing logistics for quarterly Worldwide Sales Training meetings for 100+ participants.

 Very active calendar management for the Vice President?s of Sales

 Responsibility for sales-related administrative tasks such as maintaining the central sales database of proposals, and critical sales tools.

 Calling existing customers as a ?courtesy? to make sure they are satisfied with software or communicating critical information.

 Establishing relationships/rapport with key customer and industry contacts.

 Answering phone calls from sales reps, sales managers, and from customers and prospects that require escalation to sales management.  It is anticipated that some support requirements will occur outside the regular 8-5 workday.

 

 

Qualifications:

 Highly proficient in MS Word, Excel,  PowerPoint and OutlookHighly proficient in databases and reportingMinimum of 7 years? administrative experience exhibiting progression in careerAbility to multi-task and attention to detail is essential  Excellent business writing and business correspondence skillsExcellent communication skills with a positive attitudeExperience providing support to employees in multiple worldwide geographiesExpert international business travel coordinationExcellent project management skillsExperience planning and coordinating company eventsTeam player willing to assist in a variety of tasks outside of job to contribute to the success of the company
