We are in search of an assertive individual with lots of ambition for this prime ground floor position. You would be afforded excellent growth potential by playing a key role in helping us increase our business sales in the Chicago area.

 

Primary responsibilities include:

 
Providing sales support to a group of Sales Representatives
Scrubbing applications for missing information
Forwarding applications to the medical underwriting department for rate quote adjustment
Sending adjusted rate quotes to brokers
Calling brokers to obtain status of quotes
Obtaining census information from brokers
Entering census information into an internal system
Submitting information into a field quoting tool to provide rates to customers
Sending out welcome letters to new groups



Excellent customer service/client service skills are required for this role. A background in health insurance is preferred, as is experience supporting a sales team. Experience working with brokers is desired. MS Office and PC proficiency are a must. Proficiency with internal systems is a plus. A Bachelor’s degree is required.
