Sales and Marketing Coordinator

To professionally and efficiently manage and coordinate the administrative details of Capital Business Solution?s sales and marketing projects, while providing administrative assistance to Vice President of Sales who is responsible for all firm sales.

Primary Responsibilities of this position include:

??? Develop and maintain a CRM database

o? Follow up with Inside and Outside Sales teams to identify the information needed to be tracked and ensure that you have the appropriate fields in your database and pipeline to track information on CBS customers and prospects

??? Screen and qualify new prospects

??? Maintain a detailed pipeline of CBS prospects and conduct follow up calls and activities as required

??? Prepare and present a synopsis of prospect activity bimonthly for VP of Sales

??? Maintain company web site and content

??? Maintain calendar of marketing activities, seminars, and conferences

??? Prepare and mail proposals

o? Maintain pipeline to track all proposals delivered and status of activity

o? Follow up on proposals that have been delivered when assigned to do so

o? Track reasons for lost proposals

??? Coordinate and manage the fulfillment after a sale is closed, including:

o? Check that hardware/software is ordered

o? Conduct a hand-off meeting with VP Client Services to ensure new client implementation is scheduled and take on other duties as assigned for that engagement

o? During new implementations, place follow up calls to customer to ascertain if their expectations have been met (if not, write up customer?s remarks and address with appropriate outside salesperson immediately

??? Prepare and coordinate correspondence and mailings

??? Place follow up calls on marketing and sales literature mailed out

??? Coordinate outside marketing opportunities when assigned to do so including:

o? Mailing campaigns

o? Trade shows

o? Seminars

o? Speaking engagements

??? Maintain inventory of promotional materials [i.e., brochures, flyers, giveaways, etc.]

??? Assemble sales literature and fulfill requests for literature

??? Coordinate the mailing and disbursement of promotional materials

??? Plan and coordinate web and onsite CBS customer and prospect seminars

??? Attendance at certain trade shows, vendor shows, and seminars

??? Assist in the development of new CBS branded promotional and sales material

??? Maintain current CBS branded promotional and sales material

??? Manage client referral program and provide reports on its performance to CBS management

??? Provide project management resource for VP of Client Services where requested

??? Other duties as assigned

Preferred Experience:
Priority consideration is given to candidates who have work experience in a high-tech product or service environment, a familiarity with accounting concepts, development processes, or non profit or governmental operations.

Employees enjoy a casual dress code and will work from our Raleigh office.?? Minimal overnight travel may be required.
